THE MECHANISM IS OLDER THAN WRITING.
Enlil rapes Ninlil on the riverbank. He is banished to the underworld. She follows. Three gods are conceived from three subsequent rapes. The myth encodes rape as a mechanism for producing and controlling lineage. Ninlil’s sovereignty is not restored. It is replaced.
The Archons attempt to rape Eve. She escapes into the tree, leaving a shadow. They violate the shadow. The myth says: rape attempts to capture the essence, the transmission, the soul — and fails. The shadow is what can be taken. The light escapes.
Set attempts to sexually dominate Horus. Horus catches Set’s semen in his hand and shows it to Isis. Isis cuts off the contaminated hand, throws it in the river, makes him a new one, and uses Set’s own semen against him. The myth encodes: rape is a dominance mechanism — and there is a counter-technology. The violated does not remain violated. The violation can be reversed and weaponised against the violator.
Indra rapes Ahalya by disguising himself as her husband. She is cursed to become invisible stone for centuries. The myth encodes: the raped woman becomes invisible. Her testimony is erased. Her body becomes the site of the crime, not the evidence of it.
Persephone is abducted and raped by Hades. The earth stops producing. Her mother Demeter refuses to function. The compromise — half the year below, half above — produces the seasons. The myth encodes: rape has civilisational consequences. The mother’s response is refusal. The daughter’s return is partial.
The Sabine women are abducted and raped by the founders of Rome. They eventually broker peace between their fathers and their rapists. The myth installs rape as the origin story of civilisation. The raped woman becomes the bridge. Her trauma becomes the foundation.
Cassandra is granted prophecy by Apollo. She refuses him. He curses her so that no one will believe her true predictions. The myth encodes: the woman who knows things will not be believed. Her knowledge is contingent on her submission. When she refuses, her truth becomes unbelievable.
Medusa is raped by Poseidon in Athena’s temple. Athena punishes Medusa with monstrousness. The myth encodes: the raped woman is punished twice — by the god who violated her, by the goddess who should have protected her. Her gaze becomes weapon. But she is already dead.
Lilith refuses to lie beneath Adam and is cast out. She is replaced by Eve, made from Adam’s rib — taken from inside him, not created independently. The myth encodes: the equal woman is replaced by the derivative woman. The substitution is the mechanism.
Clytemnestra kills Agamemnon for sacrificing their daughter Iphigenia. She is killed by her own son Orestes. Orestes is acquitted by Athena’s court — which explicitly sidelines the Furies, the ancient goddesses of maternal vengeance. The myth encodes: matrilineal justice is replaced by patriarchal law. The mother’s vengeance is criminalised. The son’s vengeance is sanctified.
The Cathar Perfectae walk into the flames at Montségur in 1244, singing hymns. The Inquisition targeted women holding spiritual authority. The Malleus Maleficarum links female healing knowledge to sexual congress with the devil. The trials involve detailed sexual interrogation. The torture includes examination of the body.
The mechanism is consistent across millennia: the woman who knows things is targeted. Her knowledge is sexualised. Her body is violated. Her testimony is destroyed. Her replacement is installed.

THE NUMBERS.
Germany, 1945: 2 million women raped by Soviet forces. Documented. Not disputed.
Nanjing, 1937–38: 20,000–80,000 women raped. Documented at the Tokyo War Crimes Tribunal. Military policy.
Bangladesh, 1971: 200,000–400,000 women raped. Pakistani military commanders explicitly ordered it as a policy of ethnic destruction.
Bosnia, 1992–95: 20,000–50,000 women systematically raped in camps established for this purpose. The International Criminal Tribunal prosecuted rape as a crime against humanity and as genocide for the first time.
Rwanda, 1994: 250,000–500,000 women raped. Used as a deliberate tool of ethnic destruction — to impregnate Tutsi women with Hutu children, to destroy community cohesion, to spread HIV as a weapon.
Democratic Republic of Congo, ongoing: the rape capital of the world. The correlation with coltan, gold, and diamond extraction tells us: rape is infrastructure. It is the technology that makes extraction possible.
The comfort women system: 200,000 women enslaved by Imperial Japan. State policy. Documented.
The Thailand R&R program: 700,000 US servicemen, 1962–1976. Sex industry from 20,000 to 400,000. The Brodeur et al. 2018 peer-reviewed study: the geographic ghost of the US bases still visible in the distribution of the sex industry in 2026.
Mao’s Cultural Revolution: documented sexual violence as a tool of ideological purification. Stalin’s purges: documented systematic rape in the Soviet prison camp system as a tool of political terror. The Yazidi genocide: 500 women abducted and sexually enslaved by ISIS, under a theological manual justifying it as religiously sanctioned.
FGM: 200 million women. The WHO documents it as a human rights violation. The clitoral glans: 8,000–10,000 nerve endings removed. The body violated without consent. The pleasure permanently disabled.
Forced sterilisation: Sweden 1934–1976, North Carolina 7,700+ women, Norway 40,000, Denmark 6,000. One girl sterilised because she couldn’t read. She needed glasses.
Across documented history, the pattern is consistent: rape is used in war, occupation, revolution, religious purification, ethnic cleansing, and class struggle. It crosses every ideology. It is deployed by empires and liberation movements, by states and non-state actors, by left and right and centre.
Rape is not about sex. It is not about desire. It is not about power in the psychological sense.
It is administrative violence enacted through the body.

THE HARDWARE.
The vagus nerve: 80% of its fibres are afferent — body to brain. It carries safety signals. Rape disrupts vagal tone. The survivor’s nervous system cannot distinguish past from present. The threat is always now.
The oxytocin system: the bonding hormone. Rape inverts it. Intimacy triggers the threat response. This is a neurochemical mechanism, not a psychological one. The body cannot tell the lover from the rapist.
The HPA axis: designed for acute threat. Rape locks it in the on position. Cortisol floods. Sleep breaks. Digestion stops. The immune system collapses. The body becomes the battleground of a war that never ends.
The fascia: stores trauma in tissue. The memory is not in the mind. It is in the matrix. Levine, van der Kolk, somatic experiencing: the matrix holds it. The matrix can release it.
Memory fragmentation: rape produces non-linear, fragmented, intrusive memory. The neuroscience documents: this is not a bug. It is a feature of the mechanism. The fragmentation makes the testimony unbelievable to a legal system designed for linear narrative. The law has the neuroscience exactly backwards.
Epigenetic transmission: trauma transmits through the maternal line. The grandmother’s violation appears in the granddaughter’s biology. The receiver is broken across generations.
Circumcision: the removal of 20,000 Meissner’s corpuscles. Sorrells et al. document 75% of genital sensitivity removed at birth, without consent. The male child’s antenna severed before he knows he had one.
Design a mechanism to maximally disrupt the human organism’s capacity for safety, bonding, presence, memory, and testimony.
The rape mechanism matches the specification. Precisely. Exactly. By design.

Aristotle: “The female is as it were a deformed male.”
Aquinas: women are “defective and misbegotten.”
Schopenhauer: “Woman was God’s second mistake.”
Nietzsche: “Thou goest to women? Do not forget thy whip.”
Evola: women’s liberation is the fall of the West.
Dugin: “Female emancipation is rebellion against the divine, natural order — a direct attack on the state.”
And then the Telegram channels.
“Femoid scum.”
“I fucking hate women.”
“Women have a vagina and therefore must receive man on his will.”
“Millions of them are going to get killed — don’t lift a fucking finger to stop it.”
“That’s why Thailand exists, sir.”
“Women speak only when spoken to.”
“My solution is to subjugate single mums to the military and make them a 2nd wife to a soldier in the army.”
These are not thugs. These are the academic generation. Rhodes scholars. The ones who will inherit institutions. They cite Schopenhauer. They invoke Dugin. They are the philosophical inheritors of Aristotle, and they are planning the next round.
The same men who invoke the 2 million German women raped in 1945 as a historical atrocity are the men in those Telegram channels exhorting sexual jihad. The past atrocity is weaponised to justify the future atrocity. The victim becomes the justification. The wound becomes the weapon.

Three thousand years. A change of register. The underlying assumption — that the woman is there to receive, to yield, to be controlled, to be silenced — has not changed.
The contempt has not changed.
The mechanism has not changed.
The plan has not changed.

WHAT SURVIVES.
The library at Alexandria burned. The Cathar texts burned. The Mayan codices burned. The knowledge survived. It went into the bodies of the people who carried it. Into the stone at Wat Pho. Into the prayers said before every healing session. Into the women who carried the medicine in their bodies when the committee told them there was nothing there.
The Wat Pho Principle: King Rama I inscribed medical knowledge in stone at a public temple in 1820. Cannot be burned. Cannot be paywalled. Cannot be owned. This investigation — these questions, these essays, this library — is the same principle applied to the rape mechanism. The mechanism is named. The mechanism is documented. It is placed where it cannot be burned.
Collective testimony: being believed changes the biology. The vagus tone restores. The oxytocin inversion reverses. The fascia releases. The body comes home.
The Riak Khwan: the body that has been violated loses its khwan. The soul departs the container that is no longer safe. Soul retrieval for the body that cannot be inhabited. What would a contemporary Riak Khwan look like? It would look like the survivor being believed. It would look like the mechanism being named. It would look like the library being built.
The demographic fact: women outlive men in every country on earth. In every war, in every famine, in every epidemic, women survive at higher rates than men. Survival itself is a form of immune response.
The men in those Telegram channels were groomed. Not by feminists — by a three-thousand-year philosophical pipeline from Aristotle through Schopenhauer through Dugin. They are not the origin of the mechanism. They are its latest deployment. You fight the pipeline. You name the pipeline. You document the pipeline. You put it in the library where everyone can see it. You cut off the supply of justification. You starve the mechanism of the one thing it needs to keep running: the story that it is natural, inevitable, justified.

What rape takes: safety, testimony, lineage integrity, embodied sovereignty, collective memory.
What rape installs: shame, fragmentation, doubt, subjection, institutional mediation.
The oldest counter-technology is the woman who speaks.

The modern science confirms it: speaking changes the biology. Being believed changes the biology. Collective testimony changes the biology. The library changes the biology. The transmission that continues despite the sabotage is not a metaphor. It is a biological event.
The women are still here.
